state of S{\~a}o Paulo, in the S{\~a}o Paulo Metropolitan Region
between the Cantareira and Itapeti saws, inserted in the Biosphere
Reserve of the Green Belt of the City of S{\~a}o Paulo, together
to the President Dutra highway and to the riverbanks Baquirivu
Gua{\c{c}}u tributary of the Tiet{\^e} river; and the
Jaguar{\'{\i}} and Parate{\'{\i}} rivers affluent of the River
Para{\'{\i}}ba Southern. The main objective of this article is
to analyze the surface temperature of the city of Aruj{\'a} with
the influence of land use and territorial occupation in the years
2010 and 2015, through the application of geoprocessing
techniques. As result of this work, four maps were developed based
on the analysis of photointerpretation of aerial images and
thermal bands. The evaluation could show that the more urbanized
regions are associated with high temperatures. This correspondence
is very clear, mainly in the urban spot of the Center-West region,
indicating the presence of the phenomenon known as heat island.
Also noteworthy are the lower temperatures associated with the
high presence of tree cover and water bodies.",
